Tourism Moree CEO Report March 2015

Welcome to the March 2015 edition of the Tourism Moree eNewsletter!! We hope you like the new format!! The team at Tourism Moree having been gearing up for a busy 2015, with lots of great projects underway, in particular, we are proud to be launching the new Moree Plains Promotional DVD at the Tourism Moree Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 11th March 2015 we hope to see all of our members there... 

Tourism Moree have also been busy with tradeshows, hosting a Northern Inland Regional Workshop with guests from Destination NSW, as well as commencing work with Snap to develop a Moree App and continuously working on the Tourism Moree website...

Moree Plains Promotional DVD

After such success with the first Moree Promotional DVD which was launched in November 2007, the team at Tourism Moree saw the need to produce a new DVD, to showcase the new services & facilities and also continue to promote those wonderful services & facilities still available.

We are extremely excited to be launching the NEW Moree Plains Promotional DVD at our AGM in March 2015. Driven by Tourism Moree, this has been a joint project with Moree Plains Shire Council and was collaborated by our very own local, Sascha Estens (Rabbit Hop Films), who has done an incredible job and certainly taken our promotional DVD well above the next platform.

The production of this DVD is remarkable and results in us now having an incredible promotional & marketing tool that will be extremely powerful and resourceful for businesses, groups and individuals alike. The uses of this tool are endless, including but certainly not limited to, attracting investors, new residents, doctors, specialists in all industries, visitors, conferences, functions and meetings right through to sections being featured on our websites...

Moree Plains App

Another exciting project our team are commencing work on is a Moree Plains App. We are excited to announce that this will be a cross platform application available to both iPhones and Smartphones. Having this technology will allow us to keep up with the vastly changing times of moving from print to digital, however, we will continue to produce print publications as the market demand for this is still massive. Once completed our Visitor Information Centre will be able to provide information and promote & market across an extensive range of media & marketing platforms assisting us in staying at the forefront of these services.

Northern Inland Workshop...

During February 2015 Tourism Moree were host to a Northern Inland Regional Marketing Workshop. The workshop was run by Charlotte from Destination Marketing Store and was an incredible opportunity to meet with representatives from Destination NSW Andrew Sergeant & Rebecca Durr and members of our region. The discussions and outcomes from the workshop will be collated into a document and returned to the Region and from there we will proceed to work on this jointly and continue to work together on attracting visitors to our wonderful Region.

Tourism Moree's website is content managed by our team, with more exciting new tools available such as the NEW Tourism Moree eNewsletters. If any of our members have any updates, new images that we may be able to include or events, please send them on through to our team.
